Our Services

As Built

What is an As-Built survey? An as built survey records the measurements of a structure once it is built, this survey is conducted at several stages during a project. However, measurements can of course vary from the original design. It is crucial that any unintentional changes in the building process are noted prior to continuing constructing. Who needs an As-Built? There is rarely a time when an As-Built survey is of no service. As-Built surveys and drawings can be especially helpful if, assurance needs to be provided before a trade installs or works on a particular section. Or, if one simply wishes to ensure that the work has been done accurately and to the specifications.

Drawings

One deciphering factor that sets Ontario Construction Surveying aside from the rest is how the information that is gathered in the field is processed. We have the ability to work in both CAD and PDF, providing drawings that suit every type of need. Our draftsman have an extensive grasp of CAD and can provide simplistic drawings of a minimal section all the way to a in-depths multi-layered 3d drawing.

Layout

We can assist those working in the field to ensure that work is done accurately and efficiently. We will provide precise locations of each detail work item in relation to the corresponding drawings. Our work has been proven to minimize errors in the building process.

Preface

We do NOT perform Land Surveying work! We measure, draw, and work with “Existing Building Structures”. However, if you give us a call we will be happy to refer you to a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).

Digital Templating

Digital templating is the process of using laser technologies to gather accurate measurements and dimensions from the field – creating a digital template. The generated template is then used in the fabrication process to ensure that material is cut and finished to exact specification. We can provide an accurate template that is ready for immediate CNC production.
